Description and History
The Throne of Darkness continues with a much more serious and deadly release… Pax and the DEATH ARENA.
Pax, The Death Pit Crusher Janitor, formerly The Drakel High Warlord, is a drakel warlord that resides at the Death Pit Gladiator Arena. He longs for wars and blood and looks down to humans as weak and inferior. He has a bone to pick with the Hero… in fact, the gladiators in his arena will pick ALL the Hero's bones up, then hurl them down, and stomp on them until the Hero's dust... But are THEY really the enemy?
Pax's story began as usual with a commotion among the villains at the table. Scarletta told that the first three stories have been very interesting so far but suddenly Pax came in and said that they all failed because they are WEAK and INFERIOR and that his story is the only worthy at the table. He requested everyone to listen up and brace themselves for the greatest story that will ever be told: THE DEATH PIT ARENA! But then, Ziri wished it was the Arm Pit Arena! Afterward, Pax grabbed Ziri and told him that this is not a joke because his story is a serious story of life and death. Pax said that not one of them squishy little flesh-bags would last one round in "his" arena. A moment later, Scarletta asked if he was better than the rest of them, Pax quickly responds that he KNOWS that he's better than the rest of them. The others asked if it is because they are: Scarletta: humans?, Xeight: dark elves?, Ziri: sneevils? and whatever Sekt and Vaden were? Pax told them that they were all cruel mistake of nature and that the only thing they're good for is serving the true-born Drakels like him; As his kind are the direct descendants of the great Dragons, and the rightful rulers of this world.
To prove this, once in a year, they hold the Death Arena Tournament where they gather the weak and the pathetic to battle to the death fo their amusement. And then, when all of them fodder are gone, they fight for the title of High Warlord. Xeight then briefly asked if the Hero suddenly just managed to show up in the tournament. Pax replied yes and the others reacted that he's now screwed! And so, fresh of the training luduss, the pathetic gladiators prepared to die for their amusement. Xeight, as the most knowledgeable among the rest, knew that this "tournament" was all just some kind of a pre-show to show off his "Drakel Superiority". Vaden, on the other hand, managed to ask about what happens to the bodies as he wants them for another undead army. Pax told them that not much is left after the Death Pit Crusher as the bodies are completely pulverized.
Sekt asked Pax if the purpose of his "Death Pit Arena" is a yearly tournament to choose their leader and Pax told him so as it was the reason why he got his title as the High Warlord. Scarletta, after knowing about it, asked what would happen if one of these "inferior fodder" would win, Pax just laughed and told her that it was a good one but it would never happen as no pathetic human could EVER defeat a Drakel and because they are the direct descendants of the great Dragons but Vaden asked what if they did, then they would be the High warlord, Pax replied. Pax told the others about the nerve of the Hero to get in his tournament and ruin everything, Sekt then told him that perhaps he has been underestimating the power of humans and other "inferior beings", he said that it was exactly what he told his generals and to make the Hero an example, he sent in General Gall, the albino Drakel. Being an outcast himself, and the least of them, his victory would prove how much better they are. But Gall failed and Pax said that it was an embarrassment to the Drakels and so he punished Gall by putting him under the Death Pit Crusher for failing him as he was as pathetic as that little moglin so he deserves this fate. And so he did, the others were all shocked as it was disgustingly evil! Pax told them no as what happened NEXT is disgusting.
The Hero and Twilly saw what happened and rushed to help Gall as Twilly used his last spell to resurrect Gall. Gall asked why they did it to him, Pax saw it and immediately ordered the other generals to finish them off. The Hero managed to finish off all the other generals first though as Pax thought it was impossible as a pathetic squishy humanoid best all of his generals. He said that he checked the records and nobody could tell him who kidnapped the Hero to the arena in the first place because he doesn't even think that the Hero was supposed to be there. The others told him the Hero could have just snuck in and kicked all of their butts, Scarletta then asked about how this Drakel superiority is working out for Pax, Sekt then asked to confirm if ever the Hero managed to defeat him, he would then become the new High Warlord as Ziri said that this is gonna be good! Pax told them that the Hero could never defeat him in the arena but before he continues, Vaden asked about where did Pax get all of his scars on his arm, Pax told him that he got them from the Death Pit Crusher as it fell on him as he was trying to fight for the title of the High Warlord but it didn't kill him entirely as he has a cursed artifact in the form of a badge which granted him immortality. And because of this, he had won the title of High Warlord THIRTY-THREE times.
The story continued though as the Hero was crushed by the Death Pit Crusher by Pax. Twilly worried that he already used his one last spell on Gall may not be able to help the hero. Pax told him that what happened is what he calls as Sudden Death, Pax then proceeds to finish Twilly off but Gall managed to save him in time grabbing his badge, Gall told Pax they were wrong, and that Twilly is the strongest one in the arena and then collapses. Pax spits as he thought of Twilly being stronger than him, he told Twilly that his very existence offends him as he's small and weak and because of that, he's stronger than him. He continued to mock Twilly as he proceeds to kill him, a little rabbit-eared freak and that there is NOTHING he can do about it. Twilly managed to fool him off though as he used the Death Pit Crusher against Pax. With Pax now gone, in all the days of the Death Pit Arena, this was the most famous as a moglin will be the new Warlord. The crowd told that as Drakels, they live with honor and that Twilly won fair and square so they all hailed Twilly as their new warlord. As the crowd cheers and chants for the new warlord, Twilly won't accept this "cheering" as all the people involved in the tournament were all gone now... and there's no way for him to bring them all back... He told everyone that THIS isn't strength or power, if they want to be the greatest in the world, then they need to step up and HELP others BETTER than anyone else! They must not put others down but lift them up. He said they if they truly want to be the greatest, then they must NOT TAKE but rather GIVE, and when they don't have something to give, look deeper within yourself and find strength; And when they have nothing left to give, you find the strength to give more of yourself than you ever did before! As he told him these, he unlocked a new skill: CHAIN LIGHTNING RESURRECT!! - an ability in which he unleashes a tremendous amount of "energy" able to resurrect multiple beings at the same time. He continued with not because you want to be better but because you want everyone to be better. Everyone matters, he said. As the new warlord, he promised to make changes on the Death Arena. He had given Pax another chance to still be part of the Arena but as a Death Pit Crusher Janitor, this time, to make room for his change.
In the ending credits, Pax was shown to have become a janitor already and Sekt was still curious on how did the Hero get to the arena but Pax told him that he already did a double check but still has no idea how the Hero showed up there. And Sekt told that there's something fishy about it... as the Mysterious Figure cuts the conversation by telling Sekt perhaps the tale of his 4th Dimensional Pyramid will reveal more.

Trivia
- Pax is strong and intelligent. His only real problem is he is terribly racist against humans and moglins.
- The 2 skulls on his belt are animated.
- In his story, we'll get to see and know more of the Drakels. They are Dragonkind and they claim to be the descendants of the ancient great Dragons themselves and believe they are the rightful heirs to this world.
- It should be noted that these are Elite Drakel… Pax has several Elites with him including one very rare Albino Drakel (Gall). They see Gall as being a misfit. So he HAD to work harder to be an elite. This character was based on a close childhood friend of Artix (Adam Bohn in real life).
- PAX’s arena elites consist of 4 undefeated Drakels…

Pax the Warlord's Death Arena is one of the deadliest places on Lore -- the drakel are a fierce race, and the competition to become their leader is one that ends in death for ALMOST every combatant! Drakel begins practicing the art of war from a very early age... and to help YOU keep your blades and skills sharp, we're building a new PVP arena and stocking it with NEW rewards!
There will also be some PvE quests and rewards if you aren't a fan of PvP, but if you ARE... this is your time to break out your best class and get to battling!

Warriors, come out to play!
Drakel Warlords are kings of the arena. Using their brute strength and earned combat prowess they can dish out intimidating damage while fending off bevies of physical attacks. That's why Pax the Warlord's Class Variant is based on the Warrior Class!
How to get the class
The Drakel Warlord Class is available from the Class shop in Battleon for either 2000 AdventureCoins OR 100,000 gold if you have a membership in AQWorlds!*
Class Information
- This class has a LOT of defensive stats and a focus on crit damage.
- Drakel Warlords are the masters of single target focused combat.
- In PvP this class is very strong vs other physical damage classes but its lack of magic resistance makes it vulnerable to classes that focus on spell damage.
- Since, at the moment, all monsters do physical damage, Drakel Warlords can tank very well in PvE scenarios.
- Their lack of AoE (outside of an AoE stun) means they aren’t the quickest farming class but their high defenses and decent heal mean they can keep going for days.
- Random fact: the head of our Class Designer group (Arklen) has been running around for the last week challenging random testers to fight him. "PvP me, bro? C'mooooonnnnn...."
