Scarletta the Sorceress

Description and History

Scarletta, The Sorceress is powerful. Beautiful. And DEADLY.

Her full name is Queen Scarletta Tyral currently known as Groglurk and was the queen in the Mirror Realm for 979 years. She resides in the Tower of Mirrors now known as Bludrut Keep. She is also a leading expert on ancient artifacts and enchanted objects. She was the most beautiful queen in the entire world before as when she was young, heroes would do anything to rescue her. She knew it as she used to let monsters catch her. Kings fought wars over her. Knight betrayed their Kings over her. But that wasn't so long as time passed when she saw her beauty starting to fade, she sought out a powerful Unseelie Fae called The Glassbinder. She made a deal with her. The Glassbinder would give Scarletta power over mirrors, and glass. And once a year, Scarletta would pay tribute to the Glassbinder by collecting beautiful youths... and trapping them inside mirrors. For as long as she did this, the Glassbinder's contract would keep her young and beautiful. This was the same reason why she also got STUCK in the Mirror Realm as well without knowing it for she never leaves her tower meaning that all she sees were all just an illusion created by the mirrors. Unbeknownst to her, she was slowly becoming a monster inside after 9 000 years of beauty that would then make her the Groglurk we know in the present. When the Hero broke the spell, the Glassbinder's tributes escaped.

In the prelude to her main story, it was revealed that Lady Solani requested Zorbak's assistance in exchange for a big amount just to get the Sanguine Garnet, the red stone in Safiria's once owned necklace before she died at the Chaos War, possibly Scarletta's cursed artifact now, seen as the red stone on her tiara. It is still unknown what relation do Lady Solani and Scarletta has yet.

In the next part of her tale, again, at the scene where the "greatest villains" of the land were all gathered at the table to discuss the Hero, Scarletta questioned the Mysterious Figure's description of the villains around the table being the greatest as they are just composed of an amputee, a little girl, a janitor... and a sneevil in need of a serious therapy, and a mocking Sekt as a nobody. Vaden replied that the Hero may have ruined all of them and now it's for them to know what happened to her in the story. As Xeven/Xeight asked her why would she live in a tower of mirrors, she said that it's called the tower of mirrors because the only way to see the tower is to see its reflection in a mirror. Well, it DOES depend on what side of the mirror you live on. And when asked by Vaden what side are they located at, she guessed in her opinion that they're on the wrong one. As she continues, she told everyone that she KNOWS that she's better than the rest of them. To prove this, she asked everyone to look in her eyes and everyone was amused that they were mirrors! Scarletta then said a proverb stating that the eyes are the gateway to the soul meaning to say that to stare into HER eyes, one must have to reach the Tower of Mirrors itself but in order to get to it, you first have to get through the Hedge Maze of Reflection! When asked why would the Hero go in there, she just replied that it's probably because of all the missing girls.

In continuation, after the Hero managed to repair and fix the Minotaur's Mirror, she told everyone that while she was seated on her Prismatic Throne hinting that she HAD BEEN a queen for the past 979 years, minding her own business, then out of nowhere, she heard the Hero saying the popular chant: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the prettiest Hero of them all?" She then showed up as it's too good for her to pass up to the Hero and so she told him/her that the Hero isn't the prettiest hero on the land. As she showed herself up to the Hero, she became surprisingly honest answering all of the Hero's questions like to get to the Tower of Mirrors, the Hero needs to go back EXACTLY the way the hero came assuming that the Hero is on the correct side of the mirror, she then encouraged the Hero to hop on in the mirror to be on the "correct side of the mirror". Scarletta also told the Hero that the proper way to summon her is to say her name 3 times using the mirror so as to not embarrass the Hero again. It was this time when it was revealed that the Tower of Mirrors is in the Mirror Realm and this is when things started to get interesting. Consequently, the Hero managed to actually found his/her way to the tower and this made Scarletta quite impressed as she said either the Hero's a natural genius or the Hero has been the mirror realm before; And so, she figured out maybe she'd give the Hero a shot, and so she trapped the Hero into thinking that the Hero would be able to save all of the missing girls if given the right choice of her mirrors. The Hero made a noble sacrifice though of letting himself fall into the trap to save everyone and that is how Scarletta trapped the Hero in one of her mirrors.

The story continued with Scarletta elaborating on how she actually trapped the Hero in one of her mirrors telling that she was impressed by the Hero as only he/she was the only person to ever escape her mirror trap. When most people think they've gotten exactly what they want, they get so caught up in that it becomes a trap they can never escape. And that was her mistake, the Hero's ultimate dream isn't just to save everyone. The Hero's dream is to make a difference... A real difference.

The scene then went silent after Scarletta and Xeight's discussion. When asked by Vaden exactly how many beautiful people did she lure to her tower, Scarletta then told him it was 9 000 including the Hero himself/herself. Pax thought that she's going to kill them but Scarletta told him she won't do that as she needs them for her to maintain her beauty while they remain trapped in the 9 000 mirrors inside her tower. This was all due to the pact that she made with the darkness in the mirror. The prisoners of the tower don't know that they were all imprisoned inside though as they are shown illusions of their aspirations in life by the mirrors.

Her Mirrored Knights were useless in trying to stop the Hero... and she became desperate to stop the Hero. It then became obvious to the other villains why she needs to imprison all those beautiful people. Vaden then told her that: "True beauty is on the inside." Sekt knew her real identity as she continues her story and this made her worried for her to stop him from telling the truth to the other villains. As the story continues, the Hero reached Scarletta's throne room... and he/she brought some of the beautiful people he/she freed from her mirrors with him/her. She then met the Hero and used her power to overpower the Hero while she tells the Hero her full name which then made the Hero think that her name's familiar. She told the Hero that he/she's not the first one in 9,000 years to make it up in her throne room for the Hero's now also TRAPPED together with 9,000 people in the tower. She traps people in her tower to keep her young and to add to her power. Scarletta then used her power to sap back the people into the mirror to prevent them from escaping but the Hero thought of a good plan after knowing that all those 9,000 mirrors were all connected to the throne room: the Hero let Melodia, one of the prisoners remaining with the Hero to use her voice to shatter all the mirrors of the tower. Melodia was successful in doing so making the Tower of Mirrors into the Bludrut Keep that we know of today. After the spell was broken, Scarletta's curse is revealed!

Underneath the facade of beauty, she was becoming a monster and thus she became known as... the Groglurk. She then unleashed her rage upon the Hero after but was defeated so she slithered into the ruins of her shattered tower... which would become known as Bludrut Keep. And she... would be known as the Groglurk. It was later revealed that all of her prisoners were all set free.

Now, after hearing her story, it's time for the Mysterious Figure's story, but it was really unexpected what happened next, the table where they all discuss suddenly just spoke up! It was later revealed to have an identity named Plank and has its own story to tell, saying that it's the best of all, for it would tell about, First... it's going to tell the villains the real reason they were gathered at the Dark Throne; Second... it's going to tell them where ALL of their cursed artifacts came from; And finally... it will tell them who is really under those robes at the end of the table. After hearing all of this, the Mysterious Figure noted though that it would be highly interesting.

Cursed Artifact

Sanguine Garnet

Trivia

  • She displays vanity as she has excessive pride in or admiration of one's own appearance or achievements.
  • She has this peculiar "mirror" eyes that make her seemingly blind.
  • It is presumable that her cursed artifact, the Sanguine Garnet was worn on her forehead as an accessory to her tiara because of its ability related to memories.
  • Reflect upon this: "beauty is the truth, truth is the beauty... or is it?"
  • Among the other ToD villains, she is straight to the point.
  • Queen Tyrall was the Groglurk in AdventureQuest and was mentioned in that game to be a fairy queen. Here, she is a human queen.

Scarlet Sorceress Class

Feel the power through your veins!

Heya guys, it’s Sync. I like to thank Arklen for going through the development of this Class with me. He did awesome on the animations and icons. As well as finding the proper coding to make this Class possible, very complex and unique and definitely in its own category. Scarlet Sorceress a Troll Spellsmith variant, focusing on AoE heavy sustaining tactics. This Class that excels in crucial focus on your Blood Count and Mana count. This Class is all about sustaining, one mistake in your rotations will be your doom. This Class has a VERY high skill cap, granting pro players and PvPers something new and something to be proud of. This Class is good for farming mediocre monsters with excellent sustain and strong reliable damage.
