Hello, I hope this is not a silly request. I personally believe I could make a great SysOp. I have helped clean up the wiki, such as restoring ruined pages, adding extra info, etc. I can be very active, especially since I use the wiki very often in conjuction with playing AQWorlds. I am great with grammar, and I am willing to learn any rules that I don't quite know yet. I hope you consider me for a SysOp well.

Basis for Block

He continuously changed the Character Pages page so that it when you click a SysOp's name, it goes to his character page instead of the SysOp's. That could really confuse new members. ~ DeathKnight -- AQW Wiki SysOp 18:18, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Extension:ParserFunctions

Any chance you'd be willing to install the ParserFunctions extension on this wiki?

It could help with some of the templates, making some parameters truly optional. For instance, simply not showing an image instead of the no shop image. Or just generally creating conditionals to show or not show stuff if a parameter is used or contains a specific value; such as, showing the member-only pic as a background if they choose member=yes.

Installing is as simple as downloading a snapshot of the extension for the wiki version we are using (1.13.x), and following the 3 step installation instructions in the link I included.

A subpage is supposed to be like this right? But why won't it work on a Clan Namespace?

Exodia1010 - Quest of the Day

Hey, most people seem to be confused by the fact that the "Quest of the Day" is a series of 7 quests and one is only available each day. They believe that the quest is available for only that one day when it is, in fact, for that specific day of the week, not the year. I think a little message at the top of the main page would help those understand it. And also, maybe a new message at the top, like:

Rare This was introduced during a special in-game event or offer and is no longer available.

Hello Al. I'm sure you know about those bots that have been spamming the wiki recently. So I've got an idea to stop basically all trolls from spamming. I'm not sure if it'll be possible though. What we do is make a new user group which every new user starts off in. That group has restricted options, and can't start pages. They can edit, but the edits have to be approved. Once they've proved they're sensible, they become a normal user. I know that it isn't the ideal solution, but it could work. Just trying to get enough attention

I created a Template Generator a while ago, which I believe would be worth integrating into aqworldswiki... but not sure where to post it as a forum or clear general discussion area is missing.

Small problem.

The user Exodia 1010 keeps on putting down this link that claims to give you free membership. But it's a scam. I've tried replacing it with a statement telling it's a scam, but he/she keeps putting it back. Can this be taken cared of please? Bishopp 21:41, 15 September 2009 (UTC) Bishopp

This isn't a referral program. Its a system set up by Artix Entertainment that allows players to earn Adventure Coins for free. There is no referral system setup (or I would have that up). The only link that was there was one that was a direct link to the page for those that cannot find it. And that TOO is in the instructions.

That was "Free AQ Membership" Al, the "Free AC" is legit AE stuff, lol. But I agree, I was going to remove that myself and never got around to it. Although I do have some claim that they got their membership, I don't know if they did or not.

We have a problem

Um, I just looked at the page of the Knights of the Black Order. Thing is, G.o.D. isn't behind it. Some mercenary group is trying to start a fight. I talked to some of them to ask for any possible reaons, and well, not only did they not know basic G.o.D stuff, but they ADMITTED that they were not G.o.Ds

If you look at the Knights of the Black Order, it says "2 birds hit with 1 stone..." I logged in to AQW and even talked to some of the members of the accused clan; they have nothing to do with it. They abandoned the Wiki a long time ago and for just this reason: people kept impersonating them. What confusing times...

EDIT: Um, one of them was SirVivorofSilver... I checked the history of some of the pages edited. He wrote the "2 birds 1 stone" thing on his clan page himself... I just don't understand...

Recently my computer minimizes my browser, and shows this popup saying "You have a virus, we are running a free scan." Then it shows the fake (blatantly fake) screen where it is "scanning my computer" and finds "3000+ virus". Then it starts downloading a .exe file. I've seen this only on this site, and on multiple computers. Was wondering if you can do something about this.

I'm positive it is coming from this site. Every time I go to "aqworldswiki.com" it starts the ad. I have tested this on 3 Window XP computers and 1 Mac OS. So the chances of those computers all having the SAME spyware on it is little to none. I also ran a few scans with my anti-spyware software and only picked up a couple of viruses, both of which were killed and it still happened when I got on this time.

Requesting one small privileges

I have made quite a number of - I believe positive (check my contribs) - changes to various templates, however I have recently came across templates which are - for good reasons - protected (like the user template where I wanted to make the image parameter non-obligatory a few minutes ago). So I was wondering whether it would be possible that I would have the rights to edit protected templates, as I believe my contribs to be enough prove that I have no spamming intentions.

Another Try

Hey Gilman... I've decided to give this wiki another try. As you know, GoD withdrew from the wiki after being harassed, imitated, and vandalized multiple times. I hope this time, those events will not be as often as they once were. I am the only one who edits my wiki page, so if anyone does a name change or whatever, change it back; it's my clan, I make the rules and my members know it.
