Here are some tips on avoiding lag. Some options here mentioned may be available in the ptr only.
1. This is the biggest help. In the options menu, the visual quality should be set on high, change that to medium or low.
2. Remove the sound. this help for some reason.
3. The options for showing pets, capes, and helms should be on. Turn these off.
4. Close any unneeded windows.
5. Clear you cache.(Ctrl, shift, delete)
6. If you like full quality, sound, pets, capes, helms, full caches, and random windows, you are an idiot who I can't and won't help.
