WDPS

Does this mean that ANY weapon of that level will do that much WDPS? Say I have a stirring spoon level 10, and a Piston Driven Polearm level 10. They both have the same WDPS? Toa Orka

Yes

Yes, that is correct. However, don't get confused over what WDPS does and doesn't do for you.

What WDPS Doesn't

It doesn't mean the actual damage from your auto-attack is the same. Auto-attack uses MaxDMG and MinDMG, an due to randomness and critical hits, a weapon with higher MaxDMG can potentially outperform a weapon with a lesser MaxDMG, regardless of level. Also, many warrior type skills use your MinDMG-MaxDMG range, and do not use WDPS at all. So these are based on luck. If you consistently get the high end of your damage range, then it has the potential to do more damage. The wider the range, the more you'll have wild ups and downs.

Examples to consider:

With the Godly Mace of the Ancients, you'll do between 66% and 133% AvgDMG for the level.

With the Platinum Axe of Destiny, you'll do between 20% and 180% AvgDMG for the level.

With Unarmed, you'll do 100% AvgDMG for the level, no strings attached.

What WDPS Does

For skills that specifically use WDPS, such as mage and healing ones, the higher the level the better. Plain and simple. And equal level weapons will generate the same damage output when using these skills.
