Does Anyone know what does this gun do??? is like a ranged attack weapon???

No weapons currently in the game are ranged attack weapons.

Gun? I think not?
I know this is officialy a gun in the game, but it doesn't have the shooting animation that colt revolver has with the mage abilities. Isn't this more of a mace or sword?
