World Boss
World Bosses are special event boss monsters that appear from time to time in AQWorlds. They have massive HP bars that are shared across all servers and rooms, and any damage done to them is permanent whether players stay or leave.
A World Boss can easily be identifiable by a global HP bar found somewhere on the map, which shows how much HP they currently have left. Players will continue to fight them until they are fully defeated, after which they won't respawn unless specified and may eventually be replaced with a permanent and more defeatable version of themselves so that they can be fought over and over again.
While fighting World Bosses, there is a chance that players can obtain item drops that they can trade in for gold, XP, and items that can be obtained ether from quest completions or merge shops every time they damage them. The permanent versions will also drop the same types of items that players can trade in as well, as well as the item drops that formerly dropped from the quests.
