Request to change clan name

Hello again deathknight, The only reason i decided to ask you, is because your the only sysop i have talked to. I dont know if you can do this sort of stuff, but i would like to request the renaming of our clan: Oxyrillas, When lilj29 thought of this name, we both liked it. but now its just, faded, i dont prefer it anymore. I have thought of a name that we both like, 'Vortex'. we would be really happy if the clan was renamed this.

Also, i would like to give you a heads you a heads up, that lilj29 has decided to let me be charge of the clan, and that he will advise me when i need a little help.

EDIT: thanks! if you mean delete it from the database or something, yeah sure. but I can make the changes to the page, but, thanks for offering anyway :P

I am afraid I did not understand your point at all o_O". How is the symbol of the bible and cross offensive? From my view, my signature refers to my values, and not to anyone else. I did not have any intention to criticize or offend anyone: in fact, I was surprised by your request.

Now, I'm aware that I'm inexperienced, and I may also many times be short-sighted (instinct <_<); but I want to understand this. Why exactly would people find it unreasonable for me to use such a signature? Is it against any rules?

Also, my display and intentions are completely sincere. If you found that it looked like I was being ironic, then I ask you to point out what was it that made you think that way so that I can properly correct it.

Hm, I think I understand. I don't think it'll be necessary to change it, though. For example, can someone who simply states he is against homossexuality be judged in the court for homophoby? All this one did was to leave his opinion clear. Of course, if it interferes in his behaviour towards people of homossexual choice, or if he tries to force his values upon a homossexual individual, that is homophoby; but I don't think anyone is right to be offended if all the person in question did was publicly display them. In fact, that is the concept of liberty of expression - as long as it is understood that your opinion must not interfere with your actions or with anyone else's values, then anyone is free to be against whatever they wish.

I choose to keep the signature there, then, as I think my point is valid. I am completely open to discussion, however, and will honestly consider any arguments against my own.

Oh, and thank you for the info, I shall make proper use of it later.

So I was exploring the wiki's Recent Changes, and I saw your question. PvP Requiem, formerly The Great Alliance, is not the successor to Requiem. Requiem was Neutral, these guys are Unity. They seem to have taken a liking to the name 'Requiem' and thought they may as well take the chance to use it. But no, they are not affiliated in any sort.

ok you said that my clan had been added to the clan pages and all..... but i only see it if i am logged in to my account on the wiki. other wise it i am logged out i dont see it. and people tell me that they dont see it either. I also have the Category clans:f thing on my page to but it only shows up when im logged on. If this isn't supposed to happen could you please tell me if i am doing anything wrong? (and did i do the signature right?)
