The Clan
Thousands of years ago, before concepts such as Light and Darkness were created, there was a greater force, called Chaos. Chaos gave power to all of those who embraced it, and its might hasn't ever faded since the beginning of time. Attracted by that force, three great warriors sought its origins for more power, and thus, those three warriors created... some random clan. Now, about Meridional Winds...
Who we are
We are a clan made mostly for the fun, however, we do have our rules, and the members who don't follow them will be banned. We would also like to point that we are not in search of any sacred artifact nor do we want to rule the world... yet.
Make no mistake here - we can and WILL be serious if something comes up. The main reason this clan was created was to just go ahead and have fun, though... I see many guilds that are strong and influential, yet end up taking things too seriously. Games aren't supposed to feel like chores after all, are they?

How to join us
A warning: right now the clan is not very active in-game. We're passing thru the serious phase that every fun clan needs before working <_<.
Then, if you still want to join for some reason, just register here: What? Where? You don't need confirmations to actually use your account, but you'll need to go thru... eh, I suppose you could call it a test... before you have full access to the forums. Otherwise, you're stuck with only the Guest Section and PMs, and you aren't acknowledged as a real member.
All new recruits start with the rank of "Candidate"... which isn't really a rank, it just means that you haven't officially joined yet. There will be an oh-so-friendly message waiting for you in the inbox (you know, those "You have 1 new message" thingies) - just proceed according to it.
Candidates who choose not to answer the initial messages and proceed as asked will not be allowed to join. Period. Come on, at least prove you can speak or something.
Those who don't speak English won't be allowed access, either, simply because they wouldn't be able to fullfill the above requirements. We are not underestimating their skill: however, we think it is safe to assume that they would not communicate properly with us, possibly even generating hatred towards themselves inside the clan. Though we DO have plans to fix that (I mean, the main leader is Brazilian, what can we do about it?), we have serious priorities right now (like not letting the clan die), so that will be tended after this.
If you find that easier, then you could also ask one of the leaders in-game directly (Namae Ga Nai or KYR1E, both on server Nythera and on the -3 timezone) - don't expect for us to be exactly easy to find, though. And that doesn't make you skip the whole registering thing.
You COULD try to join through the clan's discussion page on the wiki, but we'll probably redirect you to our forums anyway, so it's not really recommended.
Title System
There is a system for giving titles (duh) on the clan, but they can only be given by the leaders, based on a certain acomplishment made by the player. The player may decide wether to accept the title or not - also, one can only have a single title. They do not follow a pattern and the leader who gave the title is the one to decide what it is called. Any player may renounce whenever they feel like it, with no consequences other than losing the spot, of course. Most titles (such as "PVP Champion") are only temporary and might be changed in case someone worthier of it shows up. All members begin with the title of "Grasshopper".
Clan Rules
- Don't remain inactive for more than two weeks without warning. If you do need to be away for a month or something, feel free to do so, just warn a leader with the reason before you go (travels, test season, etc).
- Anyone can recruit as long as they first tell a leader and let them do the test.
- Don't insult other players, regardless of nationality, race, color, gender, sexual option, level, clan or alignment. Though it is alright to swear at others because of soccer teams... well, not really <_<.
- In case you're in the clan and you want to leave or join another clan, tell that to at least one leader. Do not break any rules just to get out.
- No spamming, hacking, impersonating or causing lag propositally among other players.
- Never start a Clan War for no reason.
- Have fun.
The punishment for breaking any of these rules will be the exclusion of the player from the clan. Yeah, even for the last one.
