Plot (Throne of Darkness by Artix)
They gathered at the request of the mysterious robed figure. This enigmatic stranger sits at the head of the table, shrouded in a cloak made of shadows. More important is what he sits upon... and sits upon the legendary Throne of Darkness. Sitting around the cursed table were the greatest and most treacherous villains in all of the land. Even the table is a monstrous talking, cursed creature bent on world domination. They share stories of their encounters with this pesky "Hero" and plot to rid the world of them forever!
Story Structure
This saga is told from the perspective of a table full of the villains. One by one, each of the villains tells their story about the Hero... how they encountered the hero and how the Hero impacted them. Afterward, their character graphic changes to reflect what you did to them in their appearance.

Background of the Story Arc
As quoted by Alina, "In response to player feedback, we're changing course away from the previously planned 8 Elemental Titans Saga -- the focus now is shifting to adventures that take place in a world dominated by the Queen of Chaos, but which do not focus on her generals or the titans.
Those things still exist in the world, but the focus of the story isn't going to be on them. Rather, it will be on the hero and their adventures setting the world to right. But the 8 Elemental Titans was too similar to the 13 Lords of Chaos -- this new direction gives us more freedom to tell the stories you all want, and to focus on the NPCs and areas you care about."

Notes
- Each of the main villains in the Throne of Darkness Saga has an individual theme, based on the character and zone they're in.
- Every villain at the table has at least one major character flaw which defines their villainry.
- Ghost is creating a unique song for each of the 7 villains in Throne of Darkness!
- This saga serves as a break from the Queen of Monsters Saga.
- The first chapter revolves around Vaden's story. As teased by Artix himself, "I really hope you enjoy the next part which will revolve around the Time-Traveling Assassin... and possibly show us a possible future where the Legion has won."
- Vaden and Sekt as the only two undead villains in the line up, are both granted what seems like immortality from cursed artifacts that they are wearing.
- The table where the villains discuss their stories the whole time was revealed to be also a villain himself/itself named as Plank.

Castle of Bone
Description
Vaden was just like the Hero when he entered the Castle of Bone who walked down the same Hall of the Fallen filled with the death knights that ruled the castle before him. He did not know that when he fought and defeated the DeathKnight Lord, he would take on their terrible curse... And so, he became the new DeathKnight Lord of the castle and for this reason, he was also "trapped" in the castle. He owns a cursed gauntlet which came from a Grimskull dungeon that has the power to turn any slain heroes into an undead minion of Vaden for eternity. He revealed that the Castle of Bone never stops growing, anything and anyone who dies in the castle becomes a part of it but the process of taking over every single room will take some time. At the end of his story, he was defeated by the Hero and had to be amputated in order to save him from the curse of the castle.

Description
Xeight (current alias as the 8th cycle) formerly Xeven, The Time Traveling Assassin, is the daughter of Chaos Dragonlord Vath. She is a dark elf that has the ability to cut through the fabric of time and space ... and other things using her cursed artifact, the Tachyon Blades, which she stole from a ChronoLord to change the future.
She used the Cursed Tachyon blades to travel through time 7 times trying to stop the Hero from doing what she read in her diary. Make that 8 times!

Flying Bacon Cat Fortress
Description
Ziri, The Daimon/Crazy Sneevil King is unusual... even for a Sneevil. His amulet allows him to instantly grant any wish instantly. Also, he is crazy.. making him an incredibly deadly (and fun) opponent. He also wants to be the Hero's BEST FRIEND… but he ALSO wants to kill the Hero.
Ever since Ziri was little, he has always been different. Unlike the other sneevils, Ziri never liked boxes. He was always made fun of for spending all his time talking about vampires, and dragons and robots... All he ever wanted was to be big and looked up to... but he was so small...
His Cursed Amulet made anything he wished for came true! 100% Legit! Now he just likes licking crayons to see what the colors smell like.

His Cursed Badge made him the immortal champion of the Death Arena... But now he stands defeated. The Hero and Twilly will pay for disgracing him!

Fourth Dimensional Pyramid
Description
Sekt, The Eternal is the Pharaoh of the 4th Dimensional Pyramid.
His Cursed Staff allowed him to control the 4th Dimensional Pyramid... but the Hero took its power source and left him banished and afflicted by the Black Plague.
To sum up everything and to help Ziri understand the truth about Sekt's story, the Mysterious Figure told everything from the start: the Hero woke up in a sarcophagus. Then stole the Eye of the Old Gods from Sekt. Then, he/she ran into a version of himself/herself from the future, who gave him/her a quest to pull levers. Next, he /she runs into another version of himself/herself who... saw a version of himself/herself that was sick and dying.. and a version that was dead. And it appears that the Hero has done this many times before. Then he went back to the throne room to re-fight Sekt. But Sekt also added that this whole time, his 4th Dimensional Pyramid has been eating THE Sun and yet there IS one way to stop it... to let him kill the Hero! The Hero knew this though and since this Pyramid converts Suns into Black holes, he/she is going to reverse it using the Eye of the Old Gods but Sekt told him that the Hero only has ONE crystal and that crystal is like a currency for the Pyramid. The Prophecy requires ONE MILLION of them to undo a Black Hole Sun! The Hero, however, pulled the final leverage which would then unleash the Black Plague that will engulf him/her in darkness, a horrible death of pain and madness. But the Hero was willing to suffer and sacrifice his life one million times and so, the Hero succeeded in destabilizing the 4th Dimensional Pyramid but the Black Plague has been released. The Hero became weak and started going mad as the Hero was inflicted with the Black Plague so the Hero sat down and so the Hero decided to get in the sarcophagus to recover. The Hero remembered though that he/she broke the endless loop... and he/she's the last one which means if the Hero don't make it int he sarcophagus on his/her own, there is no one to out him/her in. The Hero is too close yet so far to the sarcophagus and ends up dying. Sekt explained that after reviving in the sarcophagus 1 Million times, the Hero broke the loop but the Hero was the last one so there was no more of the Hero coming to put him/her in the Sarcophagus. But Sekt continued that to fulfill the PROPHECY, *HE* must kill the Hero and in this story, he never killed the Hero...
The final scene showed Sekt, being engulfed in darkness as it was stated that anyone who touches the Black Plague becomes engulfed by the darkness. In short, Sekt saved the Hero by putting his corpse in the sarcophagus in order to fulfill the PROPHECY whereas *HE* must kill the Hero by himself. Again, the Hero was shown waking up in the sarcophagus.

Description
Scarletta, The Sorceress is powerful. Beautiful. And DEADLY.
Her Cursed Crown allowed her to steal the beauty of the young and preserve her status as the most beautiful woman in the entire world... Until the Hero destroyed her Tower of Mirrors... and made her Groglurk.
Her full name is Queen Scarletta Tyral currently known as Groglurk and was the queen in the Mirror Realm for 979 years. She resides in the Tower of Mirrors now known as Bludrut Keep. She is also a leading expert on ancient artifacts and enchanted objects. She was the most beautiful queen in the entire world before. When she was young, heroes would do anything to rescue her. She knew it as she used to let monsters catch her; Kings fought wars over her; Knight betrayed their Kings over her; But that wasn't so long as time passes, she realized she had to make a deal with the darkness in the mirror... and that's how she got her mirror eyes. The same reason why she also got STUCK in the Mirror Realm as well for she never leaves her tower meaning that all she sees were all just an illusion created by the mirrors. Unbeknownst to her, she was becoming a monster inside after 9 000 years of beauty which would then make her the Groglurk that we know in the present. She resides in the Tower of Mirrors now known as Bludrut Keep. She is also a leading expert on ancient artifacts and enchanted objects.

Plank, The Table was recently revealed to be a villain as well.
When Vaden, Xeight, Ziri, Pax, Sekt, and Scarletta are prepared to hear the Mysterious Figure, Plank spoke up stating that they haven't heard his story yet. This surprised the group. Plank states that he knows the origins of the cursed artifact each of the villains had and the true identity of the Mysterious Figure.
