Description
The Hero is the main protagonist of AdventureQuest Worlds and can be customized by appearance and gender. The Hero is on a quest to defeat Drakath and the 13 Lords of Chaos.
13th Lord of Chaos
The Thirteenth Lord of Chaos. After battling all the way to the top of Mount Doomskull, the hero of Battleon at last confronted Drakath and, enraged at him for all the pain and suffering that Chaos has caused to everyone up to that point, tried to make him pay for what he had done. Unfortunately, Drakath was too powerful, and was about to deal the final blow and murder the hero, only for him/her to remind Drakath that he promised to reveal the identity of the 13th Lord of Chaos. Drakath agreed, and chose the hero as the 13th Lord of Chaos, transforming him/her into one out of the 13th Lord's four choosable classes (Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Healer). The hero would then cause chaos from that point until the time that the thirteenth chaso lord would unleash the 13th Beast of Chaos. The hero is later revealed to be his/her own Chaos Beast, The Eternal Dragon of Time.
Mysterious Figure
Later, during a council meeting between seven of the greatest and most powerful villains in the land, it is ultimately revealed that the Mysterious Figure was the hero all along. The hero had gathered said villains secretly to convince them to join him/her in stopping a much bigger threat than all of them combined, also with the intention of returning their cursed artifacts to them for said purpose.

You have found yourself back at Mount Doomskull, before your fateful encounter with Drakath. Are you prepared for him this time, or will you once again fall to Chaos?
Chaos Avenger
In one timeline, you got a hold of Drakath's Chaos Amulet and became the Chaos Avenger, an entity with powers that rivaled those of the former Champion of Chaos himself. This isn't that timeline, but if you were to obtain a Chaos Amulet, then there wouldn't be much stopping you.
World War Lore Cutscene
Scene shows a Chaos Eye zooming in from the background. Afterwards, it shifts to Mount DoomSkull.
It is the eve of a war that will engulf the world... The 13th Lord of Chaos prepares their forces to do what no Chaos Lord before them could...
- 13th Lord of Chaos: MY MINIONS! I WILL LEAD YOU TO CONQUER THIS ENTIRE WORLD! WE WILL PAVE A PATH OF CHAOS AND CORPSES FROM HERE TO THE TOWN OF BATTLEON... WE BEGIN OUR MARCH THROUGH THE TOWN OF WILLOW CREEK... GIVE THE WORLD A TASTE OF WHAT COMES... FOLLOW ME, MY LEGION OF CHAOS!!! THE INVASION BEGINS NOW!!!
Chaos minions cheer. Scene shifts to Drakath.
- Drakath: The only hero capable of stopping the forces of Chaos now leads it... HA HA HA HA! The world shall fall before the 13th and final Lord of Chaos!
Scene shifts to Willow Creek where the hero appears and changes the sign to say "World War Lore".
Willowcreek Falls Cutscene
Scene shows a pile of defeated Dwakels in Willow Creek. It then shifts to Farmer Northrup and his son, who are attacked by a Chaorrupted Wolf.
- 13th Lord of Chaos: WILLOW CREEK HAS BEEN DEFEATED.
The hero summons a Chaos Challenger.
- 13th Lord of Chaos: I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS PARTING GIFT.... LEGIONS OF CHAOS... FOLLOW ME! ONWARD TO OUR NEXT CONQUEST!
- Knight 1: Oh no! How could this be?
- Knight 2: I can't believe my eyes. This is far worse than... than....
- Knight 1: We must report this immediately... the 13th Lord of Chaos is far more powerful than the others.
- Dirk Northrup: Where were you! *cries* You were late... too late!! *cries*
- Knights: ...
- Church Elder Calafalas: This does NOT end here! The Alliance WILL prevail!
The Chaos Challenger is standing amongst the flames.
Trivia
- When female, the hero is the fourth (fifth if you count The Twins separately), Chaos Lord to be female, the first being the Twins, the second being Kimberly, and the third being Khasaanda.
- When aligned with Evil, he/she is the only Chaos Lord to be aligned with the Shadowscythe.
- When aligned with Good, he/she is the third Chaos Lord to be aligned with Swordhaven, the first being Maximillian Lionfang and the second being King Alteon. He/she can also be considered the ffifth Good Chaos Lord, the first being Kimberly (who was just brainwashed by Drakath's Chaos tune), the second being Khasaanda, the third being Iadoa, and the fourth being King Alteon.
- When male and aligned with Good, the hero is the third Good male Chaos Lord, the first being Iadoa and the second being King Alteon.
- In the Champion Drakath area, the NPC version of the Hero copies their equipped items, just like the monster versions do.
