Character

Vayle, also known to many as Lady Vayle, is a Necromantress from DoomWood who apparently hates Artix, her childhood friend, for what he did to her Spirit Shard containing her brother Edgar. She saves the hero from his/her undead state that Vordred made it into by using the last of her stone.

At Lightguard Keep

Before completing her quests: I'm… glad to see you've recovered, Hero. I assume that, now you've recovered from your Total Skeletal Re-Formation, you will be seeking revenge? And peharps the salvation of DoomWood and the vanquished Paladins? Yes? Excellent. There is… one thing… to take care first. Yes. *sneer*

After completing her quests: You know why I can't help Artix, Hero. But there is a good chance Zorbak will hear you out once he hears of your... efforts... to keep Artix out of DoomWood. I won't make any promises; necromancers are notoriously selfish. Be prepared to earn your information, one way or another.

At Chopping Maul

You know why I can't help Artix, Hero. But there is a good chance Zorbak will hear you out once he hears of your… efforts… to keep artix out of DoomWood. I won't make any promises; necromancers are notoriously selfish. Be prepared to earn you information, one way or another.

Where should I go?: You should proceed to the Tower of Necromancy which is beyond the swamp near Zorbak's Hideout.

At Necropolis

Within the depths of the Necropolis, you should will discover dark and horrifying secrets. *stares creepily at you* Please bring as many of them back to me as possible.

Necromancy: Necromancy is the dark art of controlling the dead. If you wish to learn the art, you should go to the Tower of Necromancy. If you survive all the way to the top and have sufficent reputation in DoomWood, you will be able to become one.

Notes

• She originally appeared as an NPC and as a guest in DragonFable. She was originally a student of the evil necromancer Noxus, who was using her to get the Darkness Orb to present to Sepulchure. She was apparently fused with the Darkness Orb itself. After Noxus' defeat, Vayle left the Necropolis to look for a way to use necromancy for good instead of evil. Of course, because of what happened to her Spirit shard containing her brother, she can't seem to stop herself from refusing to forgive the DragonFable players and Artix for said reason until they free her. She is seperated from the darkness orb by Tomix, the Soul Weaver.
