Bug Image?

There's no bug. The template was recently changed by myself, and was cleared by the Sysops. Don't change images to say there is a bug, when there is clearly no bug. --Beta wolf | _(Talk)--

I can't really speak for the snowman head display and moglin on your back because those should fall under a different template. I've only updated the weapons template at current. As to why we need two images, players prefer two different types of images, and now we're giving them the option of both.--Beta wolf | _(Talk)--

P.S: 6556 undid necro and doom knight, not Assaf‎. Hacked images are a now a no in the wiki, and until the items are released the images are not supposed to be available or posted.

Clans

Ah. The only reason I put what I did on the front page is because I was sick of seeing all these clans on the Recent Changes page. Not to mention that Clans aren't game content yet.

Oh, and the Game Staff (Sysquella posted it) want all clans off of here by the 15th.

She's a he, and all clans that don't comply'll get banned from the game for a month.

Not quite sure. From the way I understood it, all clan members will be banned for a month, but it might be that only the clan leaders will be banned.

Guide

Okay, I changed the name. However, and this is more me rambling than anything or urgent status, although I see where you're coming from, I don't know if this name change was the best thing to do. I hope that others will come to make guides about the classes after I'm done. I never wished to have the gall to presume that my guide would be "the" guide to AQW classes. The new guide name, unfortunately, seems to make this presumption. Any feedback or thoughts on the manner?

I'm sorry if it comes across as some attempt at fame or recognition, but frankly that's not the reason behind my name appearing towards the end and in the notes. I need some sort of way to be able to moderate the guide without having to convince every person that might try to contribute that I hold some seemingly arbitrary authority. Images

I dont think that converting all existing images to PNG would be a wise use of time. Rather reminding those who choose to upload incorrect image types and point the users to a guide on how to make images into PNG would be a better idea. Al Gilman 22:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Protecting finished pages

Really, It's useless to do that. Nothing is perfect, so why stop others from editing it once we think it's good? AE could just add in something new at any time. You fail to give reasons, which is extremely bad wiki policy

Even more than anybody else a sysop should ALWAYS without exception give the reason for a change. As you failed to do this I felt in my right to change the release log to the way it was, as this makes - as explained in the log - more sense, if you don't agree of this make sure to give a summary together with the 'undo' next time. Could you please next time give reasons for your actions - like wiki policy always obliges you to do - or else not do anything. I am myself used to the official wikipedia, where this is enforced to a far greater degree then on this wiki, but for a sysop to leave out explanations is extremely bad habit, as normal users may copy this.

Your grammar is poor and once again you didn't summarize your reasoning behind the frontpage message.

This time I took the liberty to rewrite your post which was totally impossible to understand, but I would really like to point out that:

A This wiki doesn't need fixing, as it isn't broken. (It can merely be improved)
B If one is incapable of writing correct (not flawless, merely correct) English than one should limit oneself to non-linguistic tasks like image uploading or template editing.
C Like in my last post I would like to remind you that on wiki's one should explain what one is doing in the summary line below the edit box.

The wiki has fallen to pieces, but then again, that's why I left. AQW community is utterly garbage in my opinion. Games like these tend to have bad communities after all. Putting something on the main page

Hay Wwallace, i was wondering if u can put something on the main page, it possible. I already said this on the discussion page but i wasn't sure if every one would look at it. Here is what i wanted to be put down, "Hay guys, it has been 1 fast year of the aqw, as a way to better our wiki, i would like all of us to go around each and every page and check for mistakes, wrong information, and putting up images. As for myself, I am going around and trying to upload pictures of pages that don't have any. Though its hard work, its something worth to do! :D." It doesnt have to be word by word, but something similar to that. Its fine if that is not possible. Thanks :D :P

Plagiarism and messed up message on frontpage

I quickly undid your spam on the frontpage, as I mentioned before (and some new points):

• If you don't know correct english, keep away from linguistic tasks, how impossible is that to understand!
• Summarise your edits and reasoning in the summary field (not directly relevant, but I see you have ignored that everytime up till now)
• All templates are working! I have edited most templates myself, so I know what I am talking about and if you encounter specific bugs, then you should contact people who have edited the template, rather then post things on the frontpage.
• And the wiki itself isn't broken either... as I already explained in my previous post and I am not going to explain again.
• You plagiarised, using Al Gilman's name below your own post, such a thing would be enough on a lot of wiki to get a (permanent) ban
• What kind of non sense are you sprouting about you coming back and having images and descriptions on your computer
  • To come back you need to be away, you wrote a message, so you're here, so you can't come back.
  • If you have images and descriptions of items on your computer, then start working on getting them on the wiki, rather then bragging to others that you have them.

In other words, please stop this kind of behaviour on this wiki, as it gives off a really poor impression to new visitors and scares current users away. GreatS 06:52, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
