Hello, and an answer to your question.

"hey guys im a new user to the wiki and i did some pages but there is 1 problem every time i try to upload a picture it tells me it doesnt match the MIME extension this error has driven me nuts Please tell me what to do!! Your fellow user ATG1997" - Taken from the Main Page Talk.

I don't know if somone helped you or not, and I might be about 3 weeks late.

You need to make sure the Picture has the allowed extension; Permitted file types are: png, gif, jpg, jpeg. Any files you try to upload that have an extension other then the ones stated will give you an error.

Example: Say you try to upload a file named: "Picture.xcf" it will not work, the wiki does not suport this file type.

On the other hand, say you use sofware to change the extension to "Picture.png" then you can upload it.

• Also, if you click a button that looks somewhat like File:Test example link.jpeg, then the file type must be jpeg or else it wont let you upload an image to that file type. Same applies for things like File:Test example link.png and any other extension.
