A Few Questions

Just wondering if it's possible for a clan to have multiple achievements? So far, each clan on the Hall of Fame achievements page has only one achievement, and no more. If it is possible for a clan to have more than one achievement, then I would like to question the definition of the "Toughest Clan" achievement. Are you referring to the method of war set forth by the Hall of Fame itself, or are you willing to include those wars from before such guidelines were set forth?

The clan that I represent, Requiem, has won three wars on its own, and is on the brink of winning a fourth war. If you look on our page, you will note the names of those clans that no longer exist on the wiki. Both Chaos Creed and Blood Knights have fallen due to actions taken by Requiem. Fallen Angels, while removed from the wiki due to actions its members took that violated wiki policy, was defeated outside the wiki as well.

How did we win these wars? Methods range from debates exchanged between both sides to in-game matches and were always aimed at getting one side to admit defeat. In all the above cases, defeated was admitted when one clan disbanded, leaving the other one victorious.

Requiem has not lost a single war, and has not participated in group conflicts that were successfully resolved. At times, we assisted allies in their wars, and sometimes solicited help from them when waging our own wars. The Guardians of Doom is one such example of this. However, the Guardians are no longer public members of the wiki, and have not, to the best of my knowledge, applied for any wiki achievements.

Therefore, according to the definition of the "Toughest Clan" achievement and the reasons provided above, I humbly ask that the Wiki Hall of Fame bestow upon the clan of Requiem the achievement of "Toughest Clan".

Hey can you have a look at Pirates of the Shadow Sea's history log cause I don't know what has happened. They removed my clan notice without notifying me and I don't think they've made the changes.

If you're going to do this... A: notices asking for a clans founding are not mandatory. You can check the logs (and if a clan is made outside the wiki, you hold no jurisdiction over whether they post that date or not). I just made that status cause when the release went out, the first three hours at least, I was practically the only person doing anything, so I was kind of miffed... .-. And no, I haven't been watching dramas today. My mom wouldn't let me on her computer until now. ._.

Now I feel stupid, but what's new about that? xP I'm such a bubblehead sometimes. xwx So yeah, I'm watching a really neat drama, it's about this girl who hides her gender and lives as a boy in a guy-only school because in those days women weren't allowed to learn to read and write. It's called Sungkyunkwan Scandal. ;D It's Korean with English subtitles. =D
    • Woot! I love Howl's Moving Castle as well. It was my favorite for a long time, but the dramas have got me in their grip now. I go from reading manga/manhwa to watching Asian dramas all the time. If you want to look at other dramas though, you can look at the site's front page, where they recommend the Korean ones they host there. If you want other languages, you can go to Crunchyroll as well. I'm sure you probably know that though. xP

But then it gets messed up cause the roommate won't let himself admit he could be gay, like it's a sin or something, against the rules in his eyes. o-O And the other roommate just hiccups whenever he's near her for a while, because he finds out her secret by accident. xD Allot of cultural things are mentioned in the drama too, so it's pretty interesting. =3

To be restored it was an alliance of clans that my clan owned which disbanded on the wiki a year ago we disbanded on the wiki and moved to forums instead but now i think the time has come for us to return to the wiki. Yeah, I got maybe four hours or less. I've got an erratic sleeping schedule every now and then. Most of the time I end up sleeping 10+ hours, so no worries. One of the rules.

On the page with on the clans on it there are rules. One of the rules is "Don't Use Special Characters". Does this mean characters from character map, such as Ð,Ñ,Õ. Is that what is meant by that rule?

Yea Nafets recently some annoying person went and destroyed my clan page can u find out who he is? The only ppl who edited the clan page is me and noobfinger if there is anyone else then thats the culprit.

Haha, not much, not much... or at least, not much of great importance. I've mostly been spending my time doing homework and studying, but I am also trying to push for GoD 3.0, the latest website and clan model I hope to incorporate. We're moving towards simplification, putting more effort into design and representation, and then I'm also running through a new administration set up. It's going to be pretty sweet once it's all done. We're also considering leaving the shadows again, to bring more havoc to the clan world of AE. But who knows... So many doors line these halls, and we've got all the keys xD

Suggestion!

Merci again, with a new suggestion! Okay, here goes. Have you guys seen that AqwGuilds site yet? Basically its where you can add your clan to a list and people will vote for it! SO far, Requiem and Hammer are battling out for the lead, while other clans are failing in getting people to vote for them. Well, I think achievements for the highest clan on that site for the week should keep activity in both clans and on the wiki up! Think about it, people will check AqwGuilds and vote, good for them. They will come here weekly where the Hall of Fame people will be posting every week about the newest clan. Good for the wiki. And the best clans, or even the worst, will get new members from the advertising of this site via the wiki. Good for all the clans.

Ok, i like the suggestion, but i mainly put the border there to make it kinda look like it would have been on someone's Book of Lore badge page, or on a Char Page.

Duplicate Pet Page

Hey Naefts, there is a pet page title "Mini Santy Claws" and there is also a pet page titled "Tiny Santy Claws". I know that the real one is the latter, because i have the pet (lol). So, using you'r magical SysOp Superpowers, can you plaes delet the page titled "Mini Santy Claws"? Thanks.

Player Template = fail (?)

Ok, i love the Player Template, and how it organizes my page. But, one part of it is a total fail. It auto maticly adds the hyperlink of "http://www.aq.com" on your user name, and it doent help in any way what so ever. Wouldn't it be easier to make it stick the "http://www.aq.com/aw-character.asp?id=" on the players name, that way, the user could add their respective user name after the begining of the char-page link. Just putting this idea out there, and im not even sure if its possible.

Reasons for not wanting to stay....

Mostly I've been trying to think of ways that this wiki and the official wiki could work together, but I haven't thought of anything that would absolutely work... =/ It seems as though the official wiki is taking over, and I've seen less people are contributing to releases as the weeks have passed.. It feels like the wiki is hitting a rock wall. I absolutely love the layout of this wiki and the formatting, and I've looked at the other wiki and I've realized that it isn't as informative as this one.. But the fact is and will remain that the official wiki is endorsed by the actual game, and so will always be the one people look at first. I felt like there wasn't anymore hope to grasp onto when I saw the links in the character pages, since if you scroll over an item's name now you are redirected to a search with the item's name in the official wiki. I want so badly to work together with the official wiki, and I think that this wiki could definitely add some improvements on the official one, but I can't see a very probable way that this could work... How do you keep coming back when this happens? x-x

Hehe...it's a pity they don't want to actually fight. I just poked through some of their discussion pages. Merciless Assassins aren't happy, not sure what the others think because they hardly ever post XD

In other topics, I'm wondering what's the point of the "Most Peaceful" clan award? There's a lot of clans who haven't ever engaged in a war, making the definition of that award highly ambiguous. I just saw one clan apply for it, and everything they said could apply to about half the clans on this wiki.

Anyways, great job in keeping the Hall of Fame alive! It's thanks to you we have our wiki still going strong.

So far, it seems we don't have many HoFOs at the moment. But, what has to be done, has to be done. Many "Achievement" applications are going onto the HoF Talk Page. I would suggest you read those ASAP, if you havn't already.

I am currently the one handling both Factions and Wars. Akiyama25 seems to help somewhat, and it is greatly appreciated. But with my sudden notification about needing faction leaders, there has been some...disagreement about the way the faction leaders should be chosen, It is currently set to "War". A few believe it should be a vote. I wouldn't care either way.

P.S Are you finished with those Faction Banners yet? I am looking forward to handing them out.
