Candy Shoppe Cutscenes

Moglinsters

• Toil: I can't believe that this is happening. It seems to get worse every year.

• Bubble (Cat): *mew*

• Bubble: Bubble is right... We have to get back in our Candy Shoppe before it's destroyed!

• Hero: Wait. Which one of you is Bubble, you or the cat?

• Bubble: We both are. We're twin sisters... but she was changed into a cat a long time ago and decided to stay that way.

• Hero: Ok... but you're twin sisters with the same name?

• Trouble: Our parents were not the most creative people.

• Hero: ...?

• Toil: Back to the problem at hand. Those Moglinsters are destroying our Candy Shoppe; You've got to stop them!

• Hero: Moglinsters?

It shows many Moglins eating candy.

• Toil: A few years ago we began making candy for Mogloween using our secret family recipe...but thanks to a mix up, the FIRST batch had a strange effect on Moglins.

A green Moglin runs by, knocking over a can of candy corn.

• Trouble: The local Moglin population underwent amazing transformations and became the candy-crazed monsters that we call Moglinsters.

• Bubble (Cat): *mew*

The green Moglin stops running as it changes over to the second area of the Candy Shoppe.

• Bubble: That's right, sister. We fixed the recipe but it was too late. When a Moglin gets even a sniff of our candy they still change into Moglinsters.

The green Moglin transforms into a Green Moglinster. We then go to many Moglinsters running rampant through the Candy Shoppe with Myx stuck within their rampage.

• Trouble: The Moglinsters are even more insane than usual and they've overtaken our Candy Shoppe and factory!

It zooms in to Myx.

• Bubble: Worst of all our beloved magical doom cauldron, Myx is stuck in there with them!

• Trouble: If only we had Myx with us we might be able to work on a soothing candy to calm the moglinsters down until Mogloween has passed and they return to normal!

We go back to the hero and the Cauldron Sisters.

• Toil: What do you say? Do you think you can clear out our Candy Shoppe, save Myx and find out why they are acting more candy-crazed than usual?

Rescue Myx

Having defeated the Super Moglinster, the hero runs over to Myx.

• Myx: Psst!!! Hey over here!

• Hero: You must be Myx, the Cauldron Sisters sent me rescue you!

• Myx: They DID!?! They care about me?! I mean... of course they did! Those beautiful queens of the candy world need me. Without me they could never take over Lore!

• Hero: They don't want to take over Lore. They want to make the worlds best candy.

• Myx: *sigh* A doom cauldron can dream, can't he?

• Hero: What do the Moglinsters want with you anyway? They can't make candy.

• Myx: I don't think that's what they had in mind.

• Hero: What do you mean? What do you think they want you for?

• Myx: I'm not sure... but I don't see any toilets around here? Do you?

• Hero: YIKES! Let's get you out of here!

The hero runs closer to Myx, picks him up, and runs out of the area with Myx in tow.

Voltabolt

After the hero has defeated the Dental Driller, Dr. Voltabolt falls and kneels in front of him/her.

• Dr. Voltabolt: Nooo! My Beautiful Machines! You haf ruined my planz!

• Hero: Serves you right! You were trying to ruin Mogloween for everyone!

• Dr. Voltabolt: You don't understand. Yes, I am a mad zientist, but I am alzo a dentist! I tried to make sugar-free candy to fight tooth decay!

We go over to a purple Moglin in the previous area of Voltabolt's lab before the Dental Driller.

• Dr. Voltabolt: Ze Moglinzters had an ... odd reaction ... to ze sugar-free candies. It made them more agrezzive. In zome cases, it even combined with their new fury and mutated them into Zuper Moglinsters!

The purple Moglin transforms into a Super Moglinster.

• Hero: Well DUH! The moglinsters are CANDY monsters... try and push them this sugar-free junk and of COURSE they'll go berserk.

• Dr. Voltabolt: Once I had zeen what I had done I realized that I could use these monzters to my advantage.

We go over to the Moglinsters and a trail of candy at the entrance to the Candy Shoppe.

• Dr. Voltabolt: I left a trail of Cauldron Zisters candy from my lab into their candy shop and I left it to them to destroy the magic candy factory!

The Super Moglinster charges toward the Candy Shoppe. We go back to the hero and Dr. Voltabolt.

• Hero: Wait a second ... you're a dentist?

Dr. Voltabolt stands up.

• Dr. Voltabolt: ...And evil genius, that iz correct!

• Hero: ...And you wanted to stop people from eating candy to prevent tooth decay?

• Dr. Voltabolt: That iz vat dentists do.

• Hero: No, dentists TREAT tooth decay and toothaches. Why vould you vant to stop... er... ..want to stop people from eating candy when all those new patients you'd get would make you rich?

It zooms in to Dr. Voltabolt as he realizes what the hero convinced him.

• Dr. Voltabolt: ...I never thought of it that way.

Dr. Voltabolt stands up straight as the screen zooms back out.

• Dr. Voltabolt: ...Pack it up boyz! Vee are goink home!

Moglinsterbots start running by.

• Dr. Voltabolt: Happy Mogloween hero!

It zooms in to the hero's face.

• Hero: Yeah, right. Happy Mogloween to you too Dr. Voltabolt.

It zooms back out, this time without Dr. Voltabolt.

• Hero: Evil genius, my FOOT. What a looney!

Candy Cornfields Cutscenes

Candy Corn

• Bubble (Cat): *mew*

• Bubble: Bubble is right. This place feels weird.

• Trouble: This is very unlike the farmers. I keep a very tight production schedule for our candy and they have never missed a harvest deadline.

• Toil: If we don't get the candy com that we need, we can't produce the ULTRA-high fructose candy corn syrup that that gives our candy its addictive sweetness!

• Myx: Maybe something TERRIBLE happened to the farmers! HAHAHA!

• Hero: Try not to sound so excited, Myx.

• Trouble: He has a point. The farmers should be out in the fields harvesting their crop.

• Bubble (Cat): *mew*

• Bubble: Bubble is right. I don't hear any farm equipment either.

• Toil: We'll do some detection spells. Maybe we can find out what happened. Hero, take a look around. Maybe you can see something that we might miss.

• Hero: You got it.

Barn

The hero enters the barn and listens in on a conversation between the Candy Kids, Malik-EYE, and EYE-Sac.

• EYE-Sac: Who do we serve?

• Candy Kids: She Who Walks Behind The Stalks!

• EYE-Sac: Who is our master?

• Candy Kids: She Who Walks Behind The Stalks!

• EYE-Sac: For whom do we collect the candy corn?

• Candy Kids: She Who Walks Behind The Stalks!

• EYE-Sac: THAT IS RIGHT!

• Malik-EYE: Now all the grown-ups are gone, and we are free to do as she wishes!

• EYE-Sac: She Who Walks Behind The Stalks has shared with me the secret of CHAOS... ...and I now share that secret with you all!

• Malik-EYE: Soon we will control all the candy corn in Lore, as she has commanded. What we began with this small farm we will soon spread to Battleon! Then to all of LORE!

• EYE-Sac: ALL of Lore's children understand the power of CHAOS through the Chaorrupted Candy Corn. Serving as her army, we will do away with all the grown-ups. When Lore is finally hers to control, we will eat NOTHING but candy... FOREVER!

• Hero: ...I think these kids have had little too much sugar...

• EYE-Sac: THERE! Hiding in the shadows... ...OUTLANDER!

• Malik-EYE: Destroy that HERO!

The Candy Kids start charging toward the hero.

• Hero: Yikes!

The hero runs out of the barn as the Candy Kids chase him/her.

Stalkwalker

• Hero: You must be She Who Walks Behind Stalks.

• Stalkwalker: I am.

• Hero: Hi! I've heard sooo many great things about you.

• Stalkwalker: And you must be another meal for me.

• Hero: Meal? I thought you just wanted the parents out of the way so you could control the kids.

• Stalkwalker: Most children are so easy to control, especially when they give in to CHAOS. I have promised them candy and a world without rules so they would help me feed.

We go to the adult farmers that the Cauldron Sisters were looking for, who turn out to have been held captive in the Stalkwalker's vines.

• Stalkwalker: Using my vines, I slowly feed on their psychic energy.

We go back to the hero and the Stalkwalker.

• Stalkwalker: Soon, my army of children will capture enough adults for me to feed on for decades.

• Hero: I get it! Then, when you start to get hungry again... those kids will be already grown-ups and you can feed on them.

• Stalkwalker: ...and their children will be my NEW army!

• Hero: That's pretty good! A lot better than the dentist's scheme.

• Stalkwalker: Glad you approve, now GET IN MY BELLY!

PREPARE FOR BATTLE

Parents Free

With the Stalkwalker defeated, her vines holding the adult farmers captive disappear, freeing the farmers.

• Farmer: Who are you?

• Hero: The Cauldron Sisters sent me to find you.

• Farmer: OH NO! The harvest!

• Hero: It's OK. You have time. Rest and get your strength back.

• Farmer: What... happened to us?

• Hero: Why don't I let your kids explain that?

It zooms in to include EYE-Sac, who is now back to normal as his real identity, Isaac Bullfinch Cronner.

• EYE-Sac: MOM!?

The screen zooms back out.

• Farmer: Issac Bullfinch Cronner! Were you trying to take over the world by way of chaos-infected candy corn AGAIN?!

• EYE-Sac: NO, MOM! I PROMISE!

The female farmer (who looks just like Anna from Chiral Valley) walks left, taking Isaac with her along the way.

• Farmer: Just you wait until your father gets his strength back!

Cask Skeleton

Cutscene opens with a pile of skulls and bones in the middle of a dungeon room. The pile begins to shake, and then explodes. The bones then combine together to create the Bone Terror, who then proceeds to attack the hero.
