Chaos Titans

Elemental Titans.

The Chaos Titans of Lore, also known as the Ancient Elemental Titans, are 8 majestic, legendary elemental creatures residing in Lore that were created by the Elemental Avatars when Lore was still young. Each Chaos Titan possesses its own different element. Two of them were raised at different points on two of the eight elemental islands that make up the shattered continent of Drakonus by two of the Queen's Generals.

History

A scipt from an ancient tome states, "...After constant warring, the Elemental Avatars wanted to stop their destruction, to create a world of elemental harmony. They came to Lore, making alliances and shaping the rock of the barren world anew.

The world of Lore itself wasn’t enough to ensure the shaky truce between the Avatars, though. As the Elemental Avatars collaborated on the restoration, they created elemental guardians - the Titans - to protect them, each infused with the element of its Avatar: Earth and Darkness, Ice and Water, Fire and Light, and Wind and Energy. They make up different parts of Lore itself, and were meant to protect the Avatars who created them. Alas, not all Titans were content in their role of protecting Lore. They fought each other as well as dragons and crushed lesser creatures. In time, they became threats, not protectors, until the Avatars put them to sleep on the Forgotten and Forbidden Island of Drakonus. And, in a last attempt to safeguard themselves and the world they had reshaped, the Elemental Avatars gifted separate races, other than elemental, with their power in order to gain their trust and service, and they created their Dragon guardians and the Champions who battled alongside them."

Ever since then, Loremasters have been collecting tales, stories, and rumors about the Chaos Titans since the foundation of the Council of Loremasters. Although most of the Loremasters were killed in the many months since the Queen of Monsters was freed, one Loremaster, Maya still lives to travel with the heroes, keeping the ancient tomes close at hand.

Trivia

• As revealed by Tyndarius, one does not simply hurt a Chaos Titan. The Titans make up Lore's flesh, blood, and bones, and thus cannot be destroyed without shattering the world itself. Not even a champion, avatar, or god must ever actually hurt a Titan.
• Once all eight Chaos Titans awake, the beginning of a new era will be at hand, and the heroes will regain their powers as the Eternal Dragon of Time.
• The Enfield was shown to be the first Chaos Titan able to speak in full sentences. Also, the Enfield as it appears in the Plane of Ice is revealed to be the form that the Enfield takes.
