Centaur 21 is selling 5 different houses and great number of items. Initially the house shop and some of the furniture shops were inaccessible due to a bug. The furniture shops features items which are sold for AdventureQuest coins or for gold if member-only.
It was mentioned in the design notes by Artix that you would be able to sell stuff and allow only certain people in your house. That probably will happen.
It was also said on the design notes that there would be more types of houses and more furniture to decorate it with.
